C-face
clutches, brakes and clutch-brake modules are available
to interface with standard 56C, 145TC, 184TC and 215TC
NEMA frame motors and gearboxes. Designed to produce greater
torque for less cost, these modules feature factory assembly
and testing, one-piece mounting via tie bolts and a motor
mount accessory.
Shaft
input modules are available for belt drives, in the above
frame sizes.
Standard
open drip proof housings – optional enclosed or
washdown duty – are also available.
Modules
are available with 24 or 90 VDC magnets.

Product Functions
C-Face Brakes
Stop, Power Applied Product: Stops shaft when
DC power is applied to the brake magnet; output can rotate
when
DC power
is removed.
C-Face Clutches
Start, Power Applied Product: Couples two shafts (Inline or
Offset) together when DC power is applied to the clutch field
magnet; output coasts to stop when DC power is removed.
C-Face Clutch-Brakes
Start-Stop, Power Applied Product: Couples two shafts (Inline
or Offset) together when DC power is applied to the clutch
field magnet; output stops when DC power is applied to brake
magnet.
C-Face
Coupler Brakes, AC Coupler Brakes
Stop and Hold, Power Released Product: Stops motor shaft; when
power is applied to the coil motor shaft can rotate. |
